I read that you shouldnt only have sex the days your ovulating but to have sex every other day. If you dont wait atleast 24 hrs you could just be shooting blanks. I have never got the depo shot so i dont really have anymore information.

Depo can take a year or more to completely leave your system. Until it is gone, you will find it nearly impossible to get pregnant. Everyone is different though. It might take you less time. I took Depo Provera for 5 years (which really messed me up by the way) and I didn't get my period back and into a regular cycle until almost exactly a year after my missed injection.

There is really no proven way of speeding things up. Your only hopes of moving things along faster is to work hard at detoxifying your body, drinking a LOT of water on a regluar basis, and maybe even some good exercize that will get you sweating a lot (that helps rid your body of toxins as well).

I have heard that there are some medications that can be used to start your period again, but honestly, I don't think you would be making a good place to grow a new baby if you know what I mean. Having those chamicals in your body can't be healthy for pregnancy. Plus, I think that you would be more at risk of complications if residual birth control is still in your system.
