Thread: IUD and then trying to get pegnant

Hi,, I had an IUD placed afterI got my second baby. I took it out now it's about 6 months. I'm trying to get pragnant, but I am failing all the time. Is this because of the IUD I had put in? Hope someone can help me.

Most women are able to conceive after having an IUD removed. Your uterus can go through an adjustment period, which can be different for every woman. I suggest that you see your gyn to find out if there is an underlying cause for your difficulty with becoming pregnant. I hope all goes well with you and Baby #3.
