Thread: Does eggplant bring on labor?

Hey everyone!

Does anyone knows if eggplant brings on labor? The other day i made eggplant cutlet, fried. I also made a split peas sauce with saffron powder in it. That night i got really bad stomach pains and puked, then last night i had those same pains but with no puking it went away after 30mins or so. I dont know why only at night time this happens, i am planning to call the hospital and speak to a nurse if this happens again tonight. It doesnt seem to be contractions, the pain doesnt not go and come, it just last until its completely gone. I'll be 36 weeks this coming thursday and im really not ready to go into labor.

I would love to think its braxton hicks but they feel different from the stomach pains i have been getting. The braxton hicks causes my entire belly to get hard then it loosens. The pain i was experiencing was my actual stomach a feeling like its being push down or squeezed just that area no where else was hurting.
