My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year and a half now. I?m 24 years and have always had an irregular period, but currently I am experiencing something unknown to me. On Sept 30th I began to spot, which was extremely dark. The spotting was nonstop until Oct 21st when I began a heavy, bright red period. It has yet to stop. It?s to the point that I am waking up with discomfort at night. I took pregnancy tests when the brown spotting started but they all came out negative. Does anyone have any advice as to what this might be? Or has anyone ever experienced something like this? Oh, according to one of my doctors from long ago, it is possible I have polycystic ovarian syndrome.
