well here are a few ideas to help you boost your fertility. it is said that ginger can boost a low libido and helps to prevent blood clotting, a common cause of miscarriage. also give your self a three month period of healthy living like eating healthy and exercising and if you smoke then try to quit and lower your consumpsion of alcohol. it actually takes three months for a man to create a whole new batch of sperm too. sounds funny i know. some good vitamins and minerals that are good fertility boosters are vitamins c and e that are good for both men and women vitamin c can increase sperm count and improve sperm mobility best sources are eating citrus fruits. the b group of vitamins help balance female hormones and boosts fertility bananas are a good source of b vitamin. fatty acids are also needed to make high quality sperm good sources are nuts, seeds, and tuna. selenium is essential for sperm mobility and also reduces the chance of miscarriage, good sources are whole grains and shellfish. well i could go on and on i hope this information is helpful for you in your quest on becoming a mommy. good luck, Lynne

Lynne give you some great advice there.

Its good that you are taking the prenatal pills but they dont help you get pregnant, it helps prevents birth defects for when you do get pregnant. If you have been trying for a year and nothing is happening you should see a fertility doctor. This may sound unfamiliar to you but i know a few people who miscarried after trying a long time, one of them had a midwife rub her belly and soon after she got pregnant. Her womb was low this is what caused the miscarriage and she had more than 1 miscarriage so after her womb got back in place she concieved. This may not be your situation but im just saying you might wanna ask your doctor about it. Goodluck!

    Cool Trying to get pregnant.

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years. We have been going to the fertility clinic for the last year. We;ve been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. So, now that I am on a break from clomid - I was on it for 4 months. I am starting a 30 day detox, natural herbs and accupuncture. I am also exercising trying to lose a few pounds. I am wondering if anyone else is going through the same thing and would want to discuss these issues and maybe encourage each other a bit? You can email me off line also if you want. jillcclark*shaw.ca
