How many of you people who are spouting anti-abortion propaganda DIDN'T receive that information from a religious source? I bet not one of you. She asked for non-biased, non-religious opinions.

And let me tell you, pain is felt through nerve endings. An embryo has not developed nerve endings. Where did you HEAR that bs?

Smilenow, do what feels right. Look into NON-BIASED sources. I did it for a research paper in my sociology class, and learned a lot. Have I ever had an abortion? Never. Could I? I don't know, I've never been faced with the decision. But what I do know, is that if you decide that's what's right for you, YOU ARE NOT A MURDERER. You were protecting your family from possible hardship and strain. I see no blame, shame, or fault in that.

I agree. Respect that she said "aside from religious beliefs". Just try to make sure your giving out the right information before giving any.

I'm sure you will know what's right for you either to have an abortion, or to keep the pregnancy. It is something only really you can decide for yourself. All we can do is give helpful thoughts.

I recently read an article that religious, anti-abortion "women's clinics" were giving out completely false information.
Saying things like it raises the risk of breast cancer, heightens chances of ectopic pregnancy later, messes with your fertility, etc, and it also mentioned that all of these have been proven wrong.
But one other thing that it said was a lot of these clinics are springing for ultrasound machines, because next to no women have abortions after looking at the fetus. Whether that's a manipulation, or "mother's instinct," or something else, I don't know.
But I really don't doubt that the fetus "shies away" from the needle. The physics of it seem right; the puncture site would be depressed, shifting fluid and fetus alike, wouldn't it?
But I'm a Spanish major, not pre-med, so let me know if I'm wrong.
Best of luck, again. I wouldn't know what to do in your situation.

That maybe makes me think that you are feeling something else besides money and time, something else going on that you can just feel like intuition maybe. Good Luck to you and hope that all works out for you.

well.. i've never had kids but from what i read.. all of the above.. i had a conclusion.. i think its better to have an abortion.. hope i dont sound inhuman? however, the choice is still yours.. i'm just giving my opinion.. it may sound harsh as it is part of you.. thats your child.. but you already have 3.. and to you.. you don't feel right.. you have to consider financially and also if you could cope with another 1.. its also really hard to divide all the love that you have for each kid equally..To me.. having one child is the best.. you will never be seen as bias.. i felt my parents are always bias in every ways.. well.. its really hard to be a good mom.. but i'm sure you will be =p go for what you think is right.. good luck and take care..

Hi everyone,

I am writing you write now from my hospital bed. I didn't have to make the choice after all. I was pregnant with twins (Again) one placenta ripped from my walls. Since I am severly anemic the bleeding was too much for me to handle the doctors to stop the bleeding had to go in there and remove the fetus's. I really don't know what else to write so I will stop and just say thank you for your words and your kindness.
