Oh my goodness! I'm sorry to hear that. A part of me is sad that you had to go through this and a part of me is relieved that you didn't have to make that very hard decision. Please take care and get well soon. My thoughts are with you.

I don't really know how this works but I just wanted to know if anyone has the ability to erase this thread. I don't really have a good reason except that I can't handle the fact that I wrote the thoughts I had for all to see. I just don't want to know it exist. Sorry if this is a inconvenience but can someone please erase this. I don't know how.

I have had an abortion. My daughter was 3 years old and I wasn't married to the guy. I felt he was not ready and neither was I. Although I do feel still til this day it was the right choice for my situation. It may not be in yours. I have to say that I do think about it still and have a sad place in my heart, but I know it was what I needed to do. You are married..and sounds like your husband loves you and is supportive. Don't let money be the only reason why you are considering an abortion. If you think someone else can give this baby a life you can't then at least consider adoption. My aunt (2 years ago) found out she was pregnant and was not with the father nor did she really have a place to live..so she gave the baby girl up for adoption to a wonderful family with whom all of our family has an open relationship with. We see her once a year (due to their location) and we think that it was the most self-less act my aunt did for this couple!!! Remember....the choice is yours! You and your husband will be the ones to have to live with your decision. Keep us posted! Take care!!

Smilenow - I just read this whole thread, and I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sorry for the feelings you are having now. You want the thread erased because now that the babies aren't there, you regret ever thinking that maybe you didn't want them. PLEASE don't feel that way. Sometimes fate, or destiny, or God, or whatever, takes the need to make a choice away. Your choice was taken from you before you decided what to do, and so now you feel that it was your fault that this preganancy did not work out. NOTHING that you thought made that happen. Please believe that. Nothing that you thought about that pregnancy made it end. It was not your fault. You were trying to be the best mother you could to the three babies you have. You were trying to protect your family. You have the right to feel however you want when faced with a difficult choice. Please don't feel guilty. You're not the only woman to feel the way you felt. You did nothing wrong.
