Default heavy bladder

as of lately my bladder seems to weigh a ton. I have tried to stop all fluids at 4pm but I am going to restroom every 2 to 3 hours at night which is causing me to get no sleep. I have no pain, discharge, foul odor or irritation when I urinate. I just want to know if anyone else has had this problem.

What time do you go to bed? I personally don't think it's the healthiest thing to stop drinking that early before bed time. Just because your body needs a LOT of water. You have to consider how much time your body goes without water while you are sleeping. I would think it might be better to stop drinking maybe 2 to 3 hours before bed time and be sure to urinate before going to bed.

There are a couple of things to consider, especially if stopping fluid intake is not helping you. It is possible that you have a urinary tract infection which will cause light to severe urges to urinate. Some times it is accompanied by a burning sensation during urination, but not usually until it has progressed.

It could also be that you are suffering from an over active bladder which is a treatable condition. There are new medications out to help with this.

The only way to know for sure is to see your physician and get an exam.
