Thread: does this sound like 2 heartbeats

ok I am 13 weeks and 4 days along. I have a doppler at home and I keep hearing what sounds to me like 2 heartbeats that are not mine. one sounds like galloping horses and is very fast. the other is just the bom bom bom and it sounds fast too but not as fast as the other. I don't know what to think so I am seeing what other peoples opinions are. especially if you have had twins. The sounds I hear are 2 completely different sounds. I mean they sound like 2 completely different things. on one I can measure the heart rate no preoblem but on the other it sounds so fast that I can't tell where it starts and stops. I know a sonogram is the only for sure way to tell. I just want to know if anyone has experienced anything like this before. I never heard 2 different sounds from my daughters heartbeat so I don't know what to think. anyways thank you all in advanc efor your opinions. It's just nice to have an outside perspective.
