    Hi, all.

I am new here posting, but have been reading for quite a while now.
My story.....I have been on Nuristrate for 5 year up to Aug'06(last shot) without getting my period. My 1st period after stopping was in Sept'07 only, understandable as I heard a lot of stories re time it takes period to regulate. It went on for a week and was quite heavy. I was too excited as hubby(married Oct'06) and I are planning for a baby. I though my cycle returned, but that was the last time I had it.
I am having symptoms that I am not sure whether it's real or it's my imagination. Feel bloated(quite gassy), cramps, tender breast, lower backache, feeling preggie. Currently I must be the queen of testing cos I have tested myself alot with all been negatives.
I have been using Agnus castus(herbal hormone balancing aid) during December.
How do I know if I am ovulating or not and how/when do I test if I am not getting my period(I knew it is 14 days after your period) or unsure of what my cylce is after all these years.

Doctors just say that it takes time to regulate and I should just wait for my period to regulate. Mmmmm. could they also give me something to give me patience.

    Thanks for reading and responses.

    Welcome Edlyn!

I'm not a naturopathic expert, but I'm pretty sure if you think you're pregnant you shouldn't take any herbs. You never know what they could do to a fetus - unless of course you are a naturopath or herbalist!

You can also buy an ovulation kit, which kind of looks like a pregnancy test - it will tell you when you're ovulating if you can't tell yourself or your cycle isn't the same from month to month. That could help.

    Good luck, let us know!

    Hi,

Dawn: Nuristrate is bc thru injection(like the depo).

Thanx for advice LadyLane. I am kind of going to let my body regulate itself(haven't used for it for 2 weeks now). I thought about the ovulation test, but then I cannot pinpoint or even estimate the possible ovulation dates( I have a weird feeling it is today, so I'll try). Or at least it is about that time as my mucus is a lot,but still thick&white(not stretchy).

I have a gynea app. for 1st Feb, so I'll see if we will be blessed in the next three weeks.

    Thanx ladies.
