If anyone has any thoughts on this I would love to hear them. I had my last period Dec. 9th but, it was only 2 & 1/2 days versus my normal 6-7. I stopped taking the pill 2 weeks before the end of the pack. I did have a few days of bleeding a few days after stopping. Today is the 9th of Jan. so I should be getting my period right about now...I have an awful headache & feel a little sick to my stomach, and no period as of yet. Is it too early for a posative test?( took one today and it was negative)
Hi, I'm not too sure about how long you have been off of the pill, or how long you took it. But from my personal experience, I was on the pill for about 3 months, and then got off of it. The next day after stopping the pill i got a short and light period (probably 2 days long). And my next period came REALLY late, I had really bad cramps starting the week prior to my period, along with breast tenderness, and headaches, etc. (very pregnant like symptoms). When I finally got my period, it was VERY heavy (so be prepared).
I have only been off the pill for a couple of weeks now. I actually stopped about two weeks after my 2 &1/2 day period last month. I had been taking it for almost 2 years. Thanks for your insight
