late for period ....

I have been having the strangest thing happening for the past 2 days. Everytime I go pee I get a brownish color, like old blood that wipes up. It doesn't run like a normal period. I don't have to wear any sanitary products. Is this what they call spotting? Or is this some weird thing?

Yes, it is most likely just spotting. What happens is that you bleed in small amount. It isn't enough to have a steady flow so the blood will sit inside for a while. The older it gets, the browner it gets.

well my period has started now so I don't know what that was about.

You can have that at the beginning and/or end of your period. It is normal and nothing to worry about.
