I just found out today that I am pregnant, BIG SHOCK TO US!!! I have dealt with endometriosis for the last 7 years. Initially they said they didn't think that I would be able to get pregnant. I don't have my first OB appointment for two weeks, until my blood work and everything is back. I was just wondering what the risk is for miscarriage after dealing with endo. for so long. I've read places that it increases the risk for miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy. I've been really crampy lately, but just thought that was part of pregnancy. My endometriosis is pretty developed, no matter what treatment they do, it seems to come back worse. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated!!

What a surprise!!! I don't know anything about being pregnant but I have endo too. If you have had any kind of internal work done, ultrasounds, mris, laperoscopys etc, they should know what kind of situation your insides are in. They have told me every surgery that I am still able to have children no problem. Try not to worry until you are able to get the facts from your ob. and BTW, CONGRATS!!!
