Hi. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby. We have a great sex life and make love regularly...but it's been almost a year and no pregnancy. I've been reading about the menstruation cycle and about how to detect when you're ovulating...however, it's 11 days into my cycle and I haven't noticed yet any clear stretchy vaginal discharge. I'm going to go into detail and I apologize if it offends anyone...just trying to understand my body...Every day so far, since the beginning of this month's cycle, the discharge I've noticed in my underwear has been quite colorless and thin, yet most of everyday my vagina has white, thick (paste-like) discharge at the entrance (no unusual bad odor or itchiness though). Part of me has started to worry that maybe I don't ovulate. Then I was wondering if maybe my ovulation occurs as late as about a week before my period begins..cause I've read that slight cramps (when you're not experiencing your period) can be an indicator that you're ovulating...? Anyways, I'd appreciate any help or information...Thanks.
