I am a 38 year old woman who has had her tubes tied and burned for 15 yrs now. About a month ago, I had sex right after my period and did have one for this month. I do regret having my tubes tied sometimes only because I would like a baby from my husband. But my concern is that after my period, my breast continued to hurt everday since, they not only hurt, they tend to tighten up alot around my nipples like when your're cold but I'm not. They are so tender I want to put ice packs on them. I also have alot of gas. The crazy thing is that these are the same systems my daughter had when she was pregnant, with no vomiting. I'm not sick, but my stomach gets so huge during the course of the day, people have asked me was I pregnant. I just recently joined the group and have seen some of the stories of getting pregnant while your tubes are tied, or is it a mind think that I may want it too much? One time when I thought I could be pregnant, I vomited, was dizzy, and tired but believe or not, the doctor at the hospital said it was bacteria infection. This is a first that my breast have hurt this long.

The only sure way to know is to take a test, but I have heard that it is very possible to get pregnant even if you have had your tubes tied. I had a friend that did!!! But her tubes were just snipped not burnt. I would just take a test and go from there. If you are not pregnant there are ways that you can get pregnant, like invitro fertilization, I also have a relative that went that route.
