So I recently purchased an OPK. I have been taking my BBT every morning, but i do shift work and I can't really count on a good night of quality sleep....so my chart has not been the easiest to read. I am also on Clomid and I am not really sure if that would make a difference to the results. So, I finally got my period....a month late. (yea, went to the doc. and had them set me up for a blood test...oh! hopes were high...and then the next day AF decided to pop up....go figure, ehh? ) AF started on the 17th and ended on the 24th with some VERY light spotting on the 25th. Did not get the OPK until the 28th. I wish i would have gotten it sooner so i could have tested right away...lesson learned. So, i took it in the afternoon, i had not had any liquids all morning. It came out positive. Alright, well...i did not get home from work until 1:30am and my husband was already out cold. The packet says you will ovulate within 12-36 hours. So, my hopes were still up. Took it the next day and it was negative, which i suppose i kind of expected. Well, i took it today...since i bought the mega pack and have a ton left...and it came back positive! so, i suppose i do not really know what to think now. Have I ovulated yet or not, or does clomid cause false positives/negatives. Or, are multiple positive tests expected? I am really out of the loop, as i have not prior knowledge to these types of tests. PLEASE HELP! thanks!
