Default What is going on with me??? (kinda long)

5 days ago, I woke up in the morning and noticed that my breasts were very sensitive esp. around my nipples. The nipples were so sensitive that it was almost painful when my arm brushed up against them. My breasts themselves were a little sore as well. My breasts are never like this when I am about to get a visit from aunt flow. I don't know what is going on.
I have been sick to my stomach, been peeing very often, always hungry, and very tired for the last 5 days. Now this is what is throwing me for a loop... I got up this morning and after being up for a few hours had to go pee. I went to the bathroom and when I wiped saw some brown and very light red (lighter than my usual period) spotting on the toilet paper. I had some slight cramping this morning but it felt more like gas pains than anything else. I thought maybe I had started my period so I put on a pantyliner to keep an observation of what is happening. The next couple times I went to the bathroom there was little on the pantyliner and it was very very light colored. Now I just went pee again a few minutes ago and there is nothing, nothing at all.
I must note that before my period I usually get the yucky brown old blood but it is always a heavier flow than what I experienced earlier and is a completely different color too.
I have never in 20 years of having my period had any of these things occur before I was supposed to start. I havent changed my diet or done anything different, and there has not been any weight gain or loss, and I am not stressed out either. Could this possibly mean that I could be pregnant?? Could the spotting be implantation bleeding?? How long after getting pregnant does it take for implantation bleeding to occur?? Sorry for all the questions but I am really confused right now. Any thoughts would be so nice. Thanks ahead of time!

The symptoms you are describing could be early pregnancy or a whacked out cycle this month.

The first thing I would do is take a preg. test. Have you done that yet?

If a pregnancy test comes back negative, I would give it another week or so and see if af (aunt flow) comes. We all have had screwy cycles here and there. If it still hasn't come, time to visit the dr. They can give you something to bring on af if necessary. Good luck!

I have not taken a test yet as I was thinking that it is still to early to tell. Also am really scared to take one after being let down so many times before. The soonest I can take a test is this weekend so I guess i am going to have to wait until then. I guess if af decides to show between now and then, I will know for sure.

How late are you?

Implantation bleeding usually happens around/or a little earlier than the time your af is due. I have had implantation bleeding happen up to 8 weeks into a pregnancy (due to the placenta attaching).

I think your best bet is to take a hpt the day after your af is due. It should be an accurate reading by then. Good luck.

Well, no need for a test now. AF reared her ugly head this morning. Guess my body was just playing an evil trick on me. It is so frustrating but I guess its time to keep on trying. Good luck to everyone else who is still waiting!
