Hi .. I am a newbie, but I need feedback desperately. I just had my third child (boy, Karsen) on July 14th of this year, and I think I may be in big, BIG trouble. Dr's orders were no sex for 3 weeks. Well, as soon as the time limit passed, my hubby and I had sex. We used a condom, but it broke. I panicked a little, but thought, nah, it's way too soon to get pregnant again. On the 18th of August, I had one quarter-sized blood spot, but nothing since. To make matters even worse, the same thing happened with the condom on the night of the 18th. Needless to say, we threw that pack out! Now I am FREAKING because almost 7 weeks after delivery, no period. I tested and it said no, but I am still frenzied. How soon can you become pregnant after having a child? When do you usually begin menstruating again? Please reply!!! Thanks!!!

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is really really easy to fall pregnant just after youve had a baby, your period should have started before now! most pregnancy tests will only show up positive wen your about 4/5wks so it leave it another cple of weeks then try another if u still havent had a period. after having my 1st child(he was 17wks old) the doctor changed my pill, i took the 1st 1 a day late and fell pregnant straight away! good luck i hope it turns out alright 4 u! claire
