Question What are the chances?

ok, i'm very new to this forum thing, so bear with me. I had unprotected sex 9 days after the last day of my period. It has been about 2 weeks since then and my period should be starting soon but I truly believe i am pregnant. My question is when ovulation begins and ends. (i don't know anything about ovulation). Is it the same for all women or is it different??

The fertility window is different for each woman, but 9 days is in the average window. If you are pretty regular and are expecting your period in the next day or two, get a home pregnancy test at the pharmacy. The better ones can detect pregnancy 2 or 3 days before your period. You might want to buy a 2 pack. That way, if you get a negative reading the first time, wait until a day or two after your period should have started and try it again. If you test early, look closely, even if the line is faint, it's a positive test.

Good Luck.
