    Hi freinds,
I am in very traumatic situation now. I am 23yrs old & not prepared for a pregnancy mentally, phisically, emotionally & financially. but now i am 5 weeks pregnant and the doctor has confirmed it. my husband too is ok with it. But i am not. this pregnancy happened accidentely and we are completely not prepared. Is there any way i can terminate this pregnancy i.e. is there something i can do at home to terminate this pregnancy like jumping vigourously, skipping, dancing or eating some foods like papaya, pineapple etc...
I tried talking with my husband. He says ‘we will manage’. But I am not ok with that. I am emotionally broken down.If something like bleeding or incomplete abortion happens at home I am sure he will definitely take me to the hospital to complete the procedures. He just does not want to have a ‘planned-abortion’. I am unable to convince him. Is there anything I could do to initiate the abortion which shall be completed in safe hands?.....pls help...

Is there any chance that you will feel better given time to adjust to this news? A lot of people feel like you at first but go on to have a happy, healthy pregnancy. I remember feeling as you do when I was pregnant with my daughter at 17 - she is now 21 and I wish I could conceive again. If you are 100% against the pregnancy then try to talk to your husband again - if he understood just how much you mean this maybe he would agree? The jumping or skipping are unlikely to work and it would be safer to go to a doctor if you are adamant about aborting.

Really, there is nothing you can specifically do without causing harm on yourself that can help you terminate a pregnancy. Miscarriages (spontaneous abortions) dont really have anything to do with heavy lifting, jumping, drinking, or vigorous activity. They happen because of chromosomes not joining together properly, or problems with the uterus, or placenta. If you really think having a baby is not going to make you happy at all, I would just keep trying to talk to your husband. But like said above, you might change your mind with time to come. Its normal to feel scared and anxious when it is unexpected. But basically I think a planned abortion is what you would have to do if you are sure that it wont affect you later.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I have been going through the same thing. I also looked for alternatives. After talking to my mom and doing some research on the internet I learned about black cohosh. Its an herb that women use when trying to enduce labor. I bought it at a vitamin store along with dong quai. From what I read you were to drink it every 4 hours for 5 days. I read a lot of success stories so I thought I would give it t try. I could only bear it for 3. It made me very sick. i don't know if it would have worked had I continued it. I took the abortion pill yesterday and the second set of pills today. I did read that if you try this and it not successful that you need to have an actual abortion because it will cause defects. I'm not saying that its the best option but if your absolutly sure you want to go through with this its worth doing some research on. There are other herbs that may work differently. Just do plenty of research before you take anything and realize that it may not work. I read that its about 50 percent. And be prepared to have one done if it doesn't work. Hope it all works out.
