ok i am 42 days late for my period. my last period was june 18 it lasts for 4-5 days and i get it every 28 day give or take a day. today is Aug. 23 and still no period me and my husband had unprotected sex every day after my period in june and i took a hpt test 3 weeks ago and one yesterday both Neg.(-) but still no period does anyone have any answers to this? and if anyone knows when i should take another hpt test please help. thank you

Hi Sarah, obviously your anxious.. Two months without period is usually a good sign but if your totally stressed about it, it can delay a bit as well.

Why not try another home pregnancy test in two weeks time, or better still go and get a blood test from your personal Doctor.

I deleted your email address because you never know who is lurking on the sites, not joined that may email you for the fun of it... just don't think it's wise.

If others have been without a period for two months rest assure they will answer your thread.. So checking here is a good thing.

But i believe blood tests can tell you quicker and more acurately.

I would go to the doctor. My husband and I have been trying and I have been late a few times. I have even had all of the symptoms. ALL TESTS NEGATIVE! I know it's very disappointing. I'm going to the doctor today to see what my problem is or if I have just tricked my body.
I wish you luck and my advice is to get a blood test.

Instead of just guessing , u r or u r not, I think it would be nice if you go to your doctor for the blood test.
Though its very rare that the hpt gives you the wrong result, but you never know.
Did you read the instructions carefully before using the hpt, coz most of the times its seen that the aprts was not used correctly to see the correct results.
