This is a really simple recipe:
Toast 2 cups raw almonds in a pan til they crackle and you can taste one that is soft when done put to the side to cool once cool chop them up. Batter: 4 cups flour 6 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. almond extract 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup sugar Mix your batter all together then add chopped almonds it will be a wet batter. Flour your board place batter on the board and cut in half form two loaves and place on a baking sheet place in over at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Pull out and slice into 1/2 inch slices then place back in the oven as biscotti are twicebaked cookies for another 20 ten minutes on each side then place on cooling rack and enjoy! |
