You'll need a pound of Salmon Filet.

The marinade consists of:

Soy sauce - 1.5 cups
Pepper to taste - (if you use reduced sodium soy sauce, you may add salt)
Honey - 2 Table Spoons
Garlic - 5 minced fresh cloves
Ginger - 1 inch of minced fresh
Mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons

Mix all ingredients in base and pour over filet in a pan to marinade for about 4 hours. Before grilling spread mayonnaise over the top of the filet.

Use a folded piece of aluminum foil over the grill grate.

Grill for about 8-10 minutes or until center is warm. I flip it to ensure even cooking, but I wouldn't recommend that to a beginner.

I serve with homemade saute'd crisp green beens and homemade garlic mashed potatoes.

Enjoy.
