thankyou for this recipe, i'll try it
I've been cruising around on the internet looking for good recipes that blend the flavor of cinnamon with chicken. I know I used to have a recipe for it that wasn't bad. I found a simple one that just uses Italian Blend herbs, garlic powder and cinnamon. I added a little oil and honey and marinated it overnight. It came out okay, but if anyone else has a recipe like this that they like please pass it on!![]()

I like to make a sort of "Mediterranean" chicken.
I marinate the chicken in Greek yogurt (plain un-sweetened yogurt works, too) with a squirt of lemon juice and then cinnamon, oregano, coriander, and turmeric. You can totally adjust the spices to taste. I don't have a specific recipe with proportions to use on the spices. I just kind of adjust it based on what sounds good to me that night. Usually a fair bit (~1 tbsp?) of cinnamon and oregano and a little less (1 tsp?) coriander and even less (1/2 tsp?) turmeric. Just play it it. I marinate it for 1+ hours, depending on how much time I have. The more the better, I'd imagine. I swear it's delicious!
I'll definitely give that a try! Thanks! When I was living in England, one of the best chicken recipes I had used Greek Yogurt in the sauce. Never thought to introduce cinnamon then!
