28 grams to an ounce means 1/4 stick of butter. You can replace some of the butter with peanut butter for a different flavor, about half if I remember correctly back more than 30 years. I also remember the peanut butter being folded in just before plating it. You could use walnuts, black walnuts, pecans and or lot of other nuts in it.
The classic way to tell if the fudge is cooked enough is to drop a drop into cold water in a glass. If it forms into a hard ball it is cooked enough. If you make it in a saucepan, a double boiler will keep it from burning if you don't want to stir all of the time. After cooking, cool the fudge by setting the pan in cold water and continue stirring until it starts getting stiff, then plate quickly.
I'm not sure if this fits under fitness, nutrition and weight loss, haha.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
