    Default pizza dough

My recipe takes about 20 minutes to cook, at 425-450 degrees, but it
does depend on the pan you're using - I find a ceramic pizza pan cooks
the dough much better than a tin pan, which can leave a soft bit in
    the middle.

    Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups plain flour (or half and half white and wholemeal)
    2/3 - 3/4 cup warm water - add yeast (a packet, or 2 tsp), and a
    tsp of sugar.

Leave the yeast 5-10 min to bubble and add to the flour, with
about 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix roughly in a bowl, then
put in the food processor, and process, adding a LITTLE more
water if it won't form a ball. Turn out in the bowl, which has
had a teaspoon of olive oil put in it. Roll the ball in the oil,
cover loosely, and leave until risen (depends on the weather, but
I find an hour is enough).

Spread out in your pizza platter (ceramic if possible, see above),
and it will begin to rise again while you potter around the kitchen,
finding whatever ingredients are available to make fridge pizza.

Cook about 20 minutes - I've never had any problem with anything
burning, except maybe the odd mushroom.

    Default easy meals

Well I'm not much of a cook, I love watching Jamie Oliver I do get tips from him on how to cook. Then when I want to I don't have the ingredients or if that isn't the problem I'm to tired.

Now I just stick to ready meals, they may be expensive or buy the smaller pkts(cheaper) for help to lose weight, you will find you have some time to yourself, and/or the kids.

    Thumbs up Tuna Casserole

ok this is one ive loved all my life, its great for those nights you really cant be bothered. the name sounds a little off puttin if u dont like fish but it doesnt really taste like it, believe me, i told my fussy-fish-hating bf that it was 'chicken rice' and he loved it.

1 tin tuna (185g sandwich tuna)
1 packet of cream of chicken soup
    3 cups of water
    3/4 cup of uncooked rice
    1/2 cup of carnation milk
    1/2 grated cheese
    2 table spoons of margerine
    1 cup of crushed cornflakes

blend the soup mix with the water in a saucepan
    add rice
stir constantly until boiling then cover and turn to simmer for 10 min
then add tuna, carnation milk, and grated cheese
    place in a casserole dish

    melt marg
add cornflakes, mix until coated and soft
    place ontop of casserole
cook in a moderate oven (180*C) for 20 min

fine on its own or with a bit of salad.

give it a try, everyone ive made it for loves it

    happy cooking

    Default basic burgers

    Direct/Medium

1-1/2 Pounds ground chuck (80% lean)
    Kosher salt
    Freshly ground black pepper

    4 hamburger buns
    Ketchup (optional)
    Mustard (optional)

Gently shape the ground chuck into four burgers of equal size and thickness (about 3/4 inch thick), and season with the salt and pepper. Grill the burgers over Direct Medium heat until the internal temperature reaches 160 for medium, 8 to 10 minutes, turning once halfway through grilling time. During the last 30 seconds, grill the buns over Direct Medium heat until lightly toasted.

Serve the burgers hot on the buns with the ketchup and mustard, if desired.

    Makes 4 servings
