Hi, thought i would share some different styles that you can eat oysters, providing of course that you like them....
NATURAL:
Natural Oysters with mint garlic yoghurt, spanish onion and black olive with a touch of corriander.
Make your own yoghurt, garlic, and mint sauce...with natural yoghurt small tub, add two table spoons of garlic, shread the mint and then dice, approximately 6 leaves, two slices of spanish onion diced, 4 black olives, diced, a pinch of black pepper and mix.
Add a leave of corriander to each oyster, if small, two.
Quite exotic. You can squeeze a touch of lemon on the top if you like.
Soy and lemon, with cracked pepper.
Squeeze two full lemons into a bowl, add two tablespoons of soy, and 1/2 teaspoon of cracked pepper and mix. Then pour over oyster, or have a small chinese bowl and dip oyster in and eat.
HOT OYSTERS
Tompatrick.
With the basis of kilpatrick, diced bacon and worstershire sauce, add a table spoon of tomato sauce for an effective flavour of difference and grill as usual.
My favourite
Lemon pepper, cheesy cream deluxe.
Place a teaspoon of cream over each oyster, or fully cover, then add the Masterfood thai blend of lemon pepper sprinkle to cover, add parmesan cheese shreaded over the top, a touch of black pepper and grill. The cream keeps it moist, the cheese hardens slightly and the flavour is awesome.
Spinached up oysters with cheesy top.
I like this one to.
Boil and mash the spinach. Add cream to cover oyster, then spinach, and parmesan cheese and grill....
Peach Morney
Say what? I know but nice.
Again, add cream to cover each oyster, slice (canned peach) thinly and place over the oyster, then mozarella cheese and grill....
Now i am hungry....
