back to the original point, it does seem like they are more grown up, or at least act it, than in the past. dropped my son off at college a few weeks ago, and I know the freshman girls didnt look, dress, or act like that when I went to college in the 80s. Society sexualizes girls much earlier now than it used to - everything from the clothing that everyone wears, to shows on TV, to even how some of the middle school teachers dress themselves! BTW, anyone seen the ABC Family show life of the american teenager? OMG, more like playton place with adult themes that I know werent discussed in the 70s when I was a teenager.

its hard these days...i have a 14 yr old niece, i took her shopping for school when she was 13 along with her friend (also 13) they were buying thongs!! that just grossed me out. i was not wearing them at 13...my parents would have had a fit! they grow up so quickly these days.
really its not your fault, dont beat yourself up about it. many many people make that mistake. i think these young girls want to be looked at in that way. which just shows what society and hollywood has done the the next generation. kids cant be kids anymore. sad, sad, sad.
    Smile...it's not so bad.
