Thread: Home and loving it!

Hey everyone,

I have been home for just under a month and I thought I would post a totally unrelated relationship topic (sorta)

I have been able to move quite past the X with the transition from being deployed and so focused on 1 woman to actually enjoying myself to the point where I have not had this much fun in years!

I honestly should thank the X for filing for divorce, I have had so much less stress or anxiety because I dont have someone pointing the finger at me every day telling me how horrible of a person I am. I have been hanging out with friends, meeting new people and trying new things.

all on top of finally being able to spend time with my son! which has been awesome... he's grown so much but he did not forget me. I have just been so proud to be his daddy lol.

I am not bragging or anything, its just nice, I am happy, surprisingly (considering how wrapped up on this 1 woman i was) but I dont have to worry about what someone else wants, its all what I want right now (when i am not in daddy mode) and i just feel actually wanted around by both friends and girls i have met.

out of all the girls i have met since getting home (which there's a few so far) 1 has sorta blown my mind, thats nuts! but only time will tell with that, I explained my situation to her and she understands.

so for now, I am just enjoying being single with girls talking to me :P
