Thread: Some advice for senior dating?

I am really out of practice here. My husband died many years ago and I have never tried dating or meeting anyone since him. I wasn't ready for a long time. Now I feel that maybe I am ready, but the world has changed so much in my 75 years of life. I don't know where to start or what to do. My granddaughter has me thinking about online dating sites for seniors, but I am not too sure about that. It's a little scary meeting people like that. But I am not sure how else to meet senior men? Do you? Maybe I should just not worry about it?

So far as i know it you won't find anyone with just staying at home!. Go out! i'm sure you have your "girls" still, go out on a girls night out. To a bar, maybe not to drink but to def. change things for a bit. Go to the library and create small talk with the gentelmen next to you. Go grab some coffee and sit next to someone you're attracted to, or go to the movies and do the same. You have to start small talk and go out there to meet the right man for you. Have fun and enjoy everything! Yes the world has changed, but you can change along with it!!
