Okay. Any guy who asks you to marry him and then immediately goes off and asks someone ELSE when you said no... is obviously not someone who wants to stay with you, and is not someone you should be pursuing at this point. It's over.

You have a right to say no after 6 months, how can you judge in such short time? Married is/should be "forever" and I think he is playing games ..

He's in-secure...

Tell him you love him (if you do) and to stop playing games and if all he is after is marriage then he doesn't love you enough...

See what he says.

sounds like this man is just desperate for a wife!

Run, run away fast. Don't look back!

I doubt his ex came to him at all. That's a lie to get you to do what he wants. He threw that in there to get you jealous that another woman might have him and that you won't ever get the chance again to marry him. That's just flat out BS. I got that stuff all the time from my BF and it's flat out manipulation. don't fall for it. Stand your ground. If you said no you said NO. And I think 6 months is too soon imo

I agree with Moon. I've known so many manipulative men AND women who do things like this. They inject the idea that they're out with someone else or try to create mystery around someone of the opposite sex to try and trick you into whatever it is they want you to do. That alone would be enough for me to leave someone.
