    Talking Some good news

I've noticed that alot of the threads here are dealing with problems on relationships, so I thought that to add a happy not I'd mention mine. I'm not trying to say mine is better then anyone else's, I just want to share the happyness a bit.

SO my boyfriend and I have been dating for 9 months or so, maybe more now, and we've become much stronger over the months. He is ajusting to my son, who is 17 months old now, I am ajusting to how he lives his life, since I've never dated anyone who doesn't live with their parents bforethis (I live with mine). Recently there has been talk of our future, not just his future and mine, but a shared one. And when he talks about getting a house or about getting a job, he always mentions how it will be good for the both of us.

Well, yesterday we were talking and he asked that I would be okay with him not being around for the whole day on holidays if he gets a job as a police officer. I said that it wouldn't bother me at all, as long as he's alive for the holidays. I joked that I'd be so mad at him if he was a dead police officer. It's so great knowing that he thinks of me, and my son as family. I nfact later that day I mention the issue of any future insurence coverage not coving my son since he is not my bf's. He told me that even though he's not my son'sfather, he'll always want to care for and protect him.

Sorry for gushing, but I'm jsut so happy, and with it being snowed in around there is no one to gush to, lol

Does any one else have any happy relationship news to share?

This is a really good idea. We need more positive stories around here! Congrats on having such a wonderful man by your side.

One good thing I can say about my relationship is that we spend a LOT of time together, even though before meeting each other, we were both very busy with various work, people, and other commitments, but we've happily made some changes and found time to be together more. I often hear people complaining about how they never see their bf/gf, so I feel very fortunate about this.

It sounds like my hubby. We've been together 1 1/2 years. I love him with all my heart. We've been through alot this last year. We're always by each others side. Through thick and thin. I told him how much i love him and look forward to our future and having a family. He understands what i mean. He knows how much i love kids. We're still kinda young.(22) However that hasn't stopped us from being so into eachother and loving eachother enough for us to be engaged. We've live together almost two years too. I promised to love him no matter what. He was almost my first lover. I want to be my first and only forever. I love being loved and cared for by him. We totally support each other and got eachothers back. No matter what.

I have a wonderful so. We have been through many things, but we know each other. We laugh together, we joke, and I truly feel like I can talk to him about anything. We were actually just friends for the first 6 months or so that we knew each other, and we still are friend. I can honestly say he is my bestfriend! Despite the difficult things we have gone through, we still have a connection that I know will stand the test of time!
