So the beau and I are booking flights tomorrow (well he gave me his info and I am booking his since I am the official planner lol) for our first VACAY I am really kinda excited because we'll be done with school for the summer mostly minus the one online class I'm taking AND we get to spend 3 days together seeing the sights I am soooo completely excited

Any tips for when traveling with a new love?? I haven't been on a trip more than overnight with anyone since um, 2003

Just enjoy yourself and have fun. Don't overthink, overstress, overanalyze, etc. about it. You will have fun and you will enjoy each others company. lol - I get excited about others going on trips, that's how much I like to travel.

    HAHA...

    I can feel that excitement

Where are you going? Have you checked out what the place has to offer, through brochures/on-line?

It will be so romantic and so much fun, the moment you start your journey, no stress, no school, no nothing 24/7 for 3 days, of total laughter/fun/cuddles/and um.... not sure what else

My advice (speaking from experience) don't spend every waking moment together. We all get run down traveling and tempers get short. Plan a little time here and there for the two of you to split ways and do something fun and relaxing by yourself.

    Have fun!

Yay!!! Ohhh I'm so excited for you.

No tips other than stay calm and cool and don't stress out about it. With as hard as you both work, you need a nice relaxing getaway. A go with the flow, sleeping in, eating great food type of vacay.

Relish the moment, enjoy it, and insist to youself that you don't stress over it. You're you, and he likes you....and darn it, we like you too!!

Just remember that vacations are supposed to be fun. That doesn't mean everything will work perfectly - just don't stress over any problems, and figure out how to have fun anyway: If your luggage is lost, plan to spend the trip naked in your hotel room <g>.

Feel like saying where you are going?

Me and my boyfriends first trip as a couple is when , if I could pin point a time in our relationship, we fell in love. Oh we were into each other before the trip but there was a magic that happened on our little adventure that made me recognize that he was the one.

It marked so many firsts for us. I went in with no expectations other than enjoying his company like I always do and I hope that you do the same!! I didn't read to much into anything it was all about fun. But the way he treated me away from home magnified for me what an amazing man I had.

It made me realize that with him I'd always feel respected, safe and loved in any environment.

Your post was a pleasant reminder of my own first (and most special) trip with my guy. A memory I will hold on to forever as one of the best vacations of my life.

I hope you have a great time!!

Well we are both in Law School so we're heading to DC. I have friends we are going to spend some time with while we are there, but we'll be doing most of our meals and sightseeing alone. We've got a rough idea of what we'd like to do. He's never been so I am mainly going to be his tour guide. I am really excited to be able to get to share his first trip there
