Question Dang. Just A Bit Confused.

About a month ago I got out of a relationshiip with my ex-boyfriend. He broke up with me via e-mail [he is deployed].

Anyway, About 2 weeks ago a high school flame text me and after about a day of talkin we started fallin back into the old routine. Talkin everyday and sayin we love eachother.

I was with thiis guy for two years but haven't seen hiim in almost two years. I thiink it was december of '08 i last saw hiim.

Why I'm a lil confused is because I can tell he wants a relationshiip but im not sure what to do. I got out of one not long ago and that last one really shook my nerves up about being with someone.

No doubt I really love thiis guy, but I dont kno why it strikes fear in my heart to be with hiim. He never did anything bad to me but since hiim all my relationshiips have been bad. Great in the beginin but bad at the end. With this guy its still like how it was two years ago.

We want to see eachother next month[he lives in Washington]. Just to see if durin the visit it isnt just our minds remembering the past.

He seems so confident about becomin "us" again and i feel a bit bad because I have fear and am reluctant.

    Should I be thiis nervous?

I think it's a really good idea to wait some time between relationships. That amount of time definitely varies person to person... But this strikes me as way too soon to be seeing someone seriously again.

If you're still affected by the break up (you're emotional thinking about it, or your confidence in relationships is at a record low, or whatever it may be), then you're not ready to date someone just yet.

Why rush? Only good things can come from giving yourself some space for a time.

I'm confused about something, though. Why do you tell this guy from high school that you love him? You can't really mean it, can you? After ONE DAY of speaking? Of not seeing each other for two years? Does that mean you loved him while you were still with your boyfriend?

I think you need to slow down and refocus on your friends, interests, school/job, etc.

I a little mean to say but durin my last relationshiip I did love thiis guy. I only assumed it was best to ignore it since we were in different states and such.

The reason we said we loved eachother is because after all thiis time the feelings we had havent gone away.

Im not puttin hiim before anything because though I care deep about hiim He knows my tries in gettin in the Marine corps come first. Plus I'm young so I enjoy my partyin when I can
