So i have this weird situation going on, i live with my boyfriend, we have been together for a year and 3 months, fighting occasionally..well anyways i spent the weekend alone because he went to his mothers to help her out with her garden and walkway and i did not want to go because last time i was there she was rude to me...anyways so yeah 4 days alone, he said he was going to be home the sunday, he called that night and said he had to stay another day and that he would be home at noon monday, he didn't tell me why..hmm anyways its monday, noon goes by, i call up his moms and she said he left but didn't know where he went..hmm weird..so anyways 8pm he shows up, stands there waiting for a hug and kiss, i just walked by him , i was too angry for being lied to ...anyways so he then proceeds to say, i didn't miss him, i don't love him, blah blah, yet he still didn't tell me where he was, so then he says he cant handle this anymore thats hes done with me and wants to find someone to treat him better...Hmmm i was standing there confused, not understanding what hes saying, was it cause i didn't kiss or hug him? was it because he did something he shouldn't have? so yeah he breaks up with me, now i am in the process of finding an apartment now...like WTF i don't understand this..my friends say its best i move on, he doesnt treat me good anyways and that they can see im not happy..well of course im not when im being lied to and hes hiding stuff from me...Grrrr this isn't fair..i do EVERYTHING for him...and this is how he repays me? wow....am i just overreacting,? should i have kissed n hugged him or not ask where he was? is this my fault? am i crazy?
    grrr this sucks :'(

I highly doubt he broke up with you because you didn't give him a hug and kiss hello. Looks like there is a constant issue or two going on, that your friends in particular might be aware of.

Something else is going on in his life and he doesn't want to tell you about it. The breakup could happen at any point.

Yeah, it definitely wasn't the lack of a hug and kiss. He was probably thinking about it while he was away and was ready to do it when he got back. You being upset with him just made it easier for him to blame something on you.

    Bees,

About a month ago, you posted that you thought he might be bipolar and was having some issues when he drinks. Honestly, it sounds like he probably has not resolved these issues, so in all actuality, he may be doing you a favor by breaking up with you. Move on, take you child, and find someone who is stable and will be both a good friend, lover and father figure to your child.

You can do it! Even if it seems hard now! Don't give up!

It's hard right now, I'm sure, but you will be so much better off. You now have this negative and toxic person out of your life, you will get your life and happiness back. Stay strong and focus on yourself and your son.

    Good luck!

I have to agree with LB. It's always hard when any relationship ends at the beginning, but you don't want that for yourself and especially not your child. Be strong, and stick with it! I believe you'll find in a week or two that the initial sting will have subsided a bit. I am glad you chose yourself over someone who needs a lot of help. He is going to have to fix himself before he can be with anyone and it's not your job to do that for him.

best of luck to you dear!

You will be alright girl i'm going through the same situation you not alone, it been 3weeks but as time and days progresses i feel better, so will be fine just allow time to heal the wounds, you seem like a independent woman you will make it through and you will find someone who will treat you better and your son.
