I usually go by asking a wish listif that sounds too obvious, it depends how much you want to spend.
I am sure an iPad is pretty cool gift.
Geek or not geek, that is the question lol
He and I have been talking for two months. By the time Christmas rolls around, it'll be three. What on earth do I get him for Christmas?? Ideas, please!
Sometimes I lay under the moon, and thank God I'm breathin'. And I pray, "Don't take me soon, 'cause I am here for reason..."

Sweet, 8 weeks, based on your other threads, non exclusivity, don't make it too personal you'll give him a signal, or, if that is what you want, then pick something to give him the signal that you've decided.
Other than that, find their passions and buy something that relates to that...

Wow.. Christmas just got me thinking
Well since he doesn't want anything for christmas it's left me hanging a bit but I plan to get him something anyway, something sentimental. I want to buy just a plan nice gift box and decorate it by hand with different colour tissue paper then put a mood rock heart in it and put a special note inside that and mail it to him(long distance relationship). I don't know how he'll react but I'm hoping he'll like it cause he's not a christmas sort of person in the first place either tho so.. but stillcan't wait to give it to him.
oops sorry misread, just skimmed over the thread. I agree with CHANDLERS WISH tho. Just buy him something that relates to what he's really interested in.
perhaps you can keep it more simple than that. Take him to something fun like Lazer Tag or Mini Golf or a gaming place. Then go out to eat somewhere fun that would have beer n wings (most guys love that). If you're not 21 then maybe you can go somewhere cool like Texas Roadhouse. Or instead of mini golf or lazer tag do a movie. Its fun for the both of you and if you INSIST you pay...then he has no choice![]()
~Today, any person can fight the battles of one day It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's- yesterday and tomorrow, that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore, live but one day at a time.~
That is what my boyfriend did for my birthday and I LOVED it.

Oh, by the way Chandler, things have gotten very serious! I need to post a new thread and kind of describe my new situation to update those like you who sorta know whats going on with my little history...but yes, we are committed and serious and I feel like I am very much in love with him. I think I am just going to get him what he told me, some of his favorite cologne, and then maybe a little something extra that he didn't ask for to kinda surprise him, like massage oils (he loves getting his back rubbed) or maybe some earrings (he loves his earrings) or something small and fun for the side you know....IDK! He is going to get me a ring, or maybe some new lacy bras. It kinda seems to throw off the whole "surprise tactic" with us telling each other what we need or want, but I feel like it's probably a good idea since we have only been seeing each other for a couple of months. Maybe next year, we'll know each other well enough to really put more thought into it? Haha

How about something really nice but cheap and consumable? I really appreciate one gift many years ago. he woman I was dating made a tray of really good cookies and packaged it with a REALLY good coffe and a new mug. Not real expensive but it fed into my love of coffee and the cookies were just a "bonus" and the mug- I kept for years.
