    Default Jealous of his friend

Me and my boy have been dating for almost two years, so it's pretty serious. I live with my mom still and he lives with his parents. Well, recently he has started talking to an old friend of his. I like his friend, but he calls my bf every single day wanting to hang out and spend the night at my bf's house. Sometimes I help my bf come up with excuses as to why he can't come over on a certain night. I've started feeling bad, so I told my bf that until he balls up and decides what he wants to do with this problem, I'm not spending the night at his house anymore. I feel like I'm making him choose, but I'm tired of helping make up excuses every night and if we get married, I do not want his friend spending the night at my house every single night. Am I wrong by pushing him to make his own decisions ???

I don't think that your wrong at all, you are taking controll of a situation that makes you unhappy. I wouldn't make my bf choose though.
But you need to ask him why he can't be straight with his friend. explain to him how it makes you feel.
If my bf had a friend over all the time every night I would tell his freind if my bf couldn't but with his permission. I'm sure that your bf doesn't want to upset anyone least of all you. Why don't you suggest that you both have a word with his freind then the freind will know that it's nothing personal. good luck.

Well, why does his friend want to hang out so much? If you can figure out why his friend is being obsessive, maybe you can try and work it out so he doesn't want to be with your bf 24/7.

A lot of times, fellas want to hang out w/their "boy" b/c they feel like the girlfriend is taking up all their time! Like the girlfriend is breaking up their "inner circle", so to speak.

I have to question why his friend wants to "spend the night" at his house. That's a just ridiculous. Doesn't his friend have a life???

If you see he doesn't have enough backbone to tell his friend to cool down on the dropping by of the house and spending the night, you best NOT marry him.

No backbone now makes you question if and when he will ever get one... and you don't want to wait until you're married for him to get one.

I know how you feel, my boyfriend was always spending time with this friend of his, and after a while it started getting on my nerves. He would be out hanging with his friend more than he would be home with me and the kids! Hang in there girl. Let your boyfriend know your tired of his friend always being around.

    Cool sorry

there never really is any middle ground. i cant get my boyfriend to leave the house! he spend 99% of his free time with me. I ask him why he dosent hang out with his friends anymore and he says he cant have fun without me, he feels bad when he hangs out with them and not me. i told him it is 100% ok but no change. Good Luck!
