Ah well all the drama continues to be over...

Still can't help thinking about it from time to time and ending up feeling hurt, remembering all the things that upset me in the past.

I guess this goes away with time? I'm not sure.

Mes, as long as this situation stays drama-free, then yes the memories and associated feelings will fade. I think over time you will feel more and more assured that he is sincere in his efforts to end this, and it will really be over.
