Sounds like a good start. Do you have his phone number? If you have the ability to text him, I have some good ideas.
I'm a 17 year old girl, and I totally like a boy in my class. I take the same bus as him to school, so I try to utilize this and hang out with him on the bus when I have the chance. But every time it gets really awkward and I can't think of anything to talk about. I tend to be a little shy with people I don't know, and I just wish that I could be myself around him, but it's so hard when I can't come up with anything to say. I'm always so nervous around him, and my mind turns completely blank when I see him.
I don't really want to tell my friends that I like him, so that's why I'm posting it here instead, I just need to get it off my chest, at least a little. So do any of you have any advice on how I can get to know him more, or what I can talk about with him? We mostly talk about school, but I try to ask him about music and things like that as well..

Do you have a facebook account? You can always add him on Facebook. Or a type of instant messaging, that way you can get to know him a little better without that face to face nervousness. I know when I was in high school we used MSN messanger a lot. I do know Facebook has a messanger too.
~Today, any person can fight the battles of one day It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's- yesterday and tomorrow, that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore, live but one day at a time.~
I do have him on facebook and I have his number, but I'm way too scared to text him. I don't want to annoy him or anything... and I wouldn't know what to say anyway >.<
If he is on FB with you as friends , just scroll his likes and interests.
Next time on the Bus, maybe bring up the Subject that you have in Common, or would like to know a bit more about .
Remember Confidence in yourself is Important , in any situation..
Then think or write to yourself,
What are the qualities you like about him ?
His Manners, his smile, his friendliness to others, his looks, being tall , skinny . average?
Then do this about yourself.
It will not matter much on size or age, weight / hair color/ eye color/ skin color
height but it will matter allot on, Compatibility and Interests , Goals and Morals .
It will matter on your acceptance to his Friendship and possible Relationship. Then decide your if your "Crush" about him is what attracts you to him.
You have time hun, to gather your strength,be Brave and just say " Hey I like you allot "
If you have his number, just casually text him and ask him a question. What worked for me was, my (now boyfriend) and I had a class together and I got into the habit of texting him while he was doing his homework for that class. I did it every day for a few weeks maybe. One day, I just didn't text him. He was now accustomed to talking to me while he did his homework, and you know what? He texted me first![]()
Thanks everyone for some great advice. I'll try to come up with more stuff to talk about, even though it may be really hard at some times.
Body Language also comes to mind
Think of things that are funny, try it on your friends, if it makes them laugh, use it on him too...And SMILE
Smiling is contageous... And, when a boy sees a girl smile, he usually wants to smile back....

Hi! I also have a boy problem!! Theres this boy at my school that I like and he thinks im hot and is probably gonna ask me out, but my mum and dad dont want me to have a bf till im 18... if he DOES ask me out, should i say yes or no???!!!
And do you like him?
I guess your parents can lay down the laws whilst you live with them and whilst you are not an Adult, legally.
And I guess, you could be like me rebelious..
But ultimately, I believe honesty is the best policy... Perhaps let him know you are interested and of your parents rules and aim at a friendship between two people that is close and get to know each other and at some stage allow them to too.
