NO1 gives good advice. The two of you are not joined at the hip. There are things I like that my lady does not and viceversa. spend time on your own.

Just becuase you are having a relationship with someone doesn't mean you have to give up your personality/likes/dislikes. If he INSISTS you watch the football with him, then it is time the two of you had a very serious talk!

Hmmm...sometimes we suffer through what we don't like to make our partners happy. I don't think it's so much that he wants you to actually watch the game as it is he wants you to be with him while he watches the game. I know for me, I cant stand certian tv sitcoms and can only watch so much myth busters. He cant stand animal cops and gets bored with CSI but we adore cuddling up on the couch together. If he is watching and its something I can live without, I will read a book or something while he watches. That way I am available to him to chat with and cuddle with but dont have to be involved in whatever he is watching. He plays on the laptop if its something I am watching that he is not interested in but want him snuggled up to me. Fairs fair tho...you make him watch top model, he is perfectly within his right to ask you to watch football with him.

I got forced to watch a bit of Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing on Ice.... I was not amused. Well, I could cope with the sexy outfits but everything else made me want to die.

Well, I made her watch some choice episodes of Star Trek and Space Odyssy: 2001 - hahaha. The pressure to watch celebrities fail at dancing on TV subsided.

Mythbusters is awesome, for the ladies that don't like it: IT'S FUN AND EDUCATIONAL... science is not your enemy!

    Uneeklyme,

I could not have stated it better. I totally agree and feel exactly the same way. It's all about the intimacy, the being close and you dont have to watch the same thing or do the same things to have that.
