Default Night orgasims

I've never had sex before and i don't plan on it till i'm married, but i don't understand why i get sexually aroused at night? It makes it very hard because the religion i follow we don't belive in sex before marriage or thinking about it before marriage, its really hard, why do i get that way only at night?

What you are experiencing is perfectly normal, although I can't say for sure why it happens at night. Remember that God doesn't make mistakes. He gave you the gift of sexuality. Don't be afraid or ashamed of it.

If you are clear that pre-marital sex is out of the question, at some point you will still have to make a choice about what you will do while you are waiting for your future marriage partner to arrive. Many people choose to explore their bodies via masturbation. Some religions have very strong rules against this. Others take a more liberal view. Think of it this way: If you explore the temptation and occasionaly yield to it, it will have less power over you. If you take the time to understand the sexual nature of your own body and the way it responds, you will have power over it.

That's all I'm going to say. Remember that you always have a choice, and that God made you perfect.

Welcome to the forum.

DarkStar3,
Your body is a God created super-computer. During the night it performs all sorts of "system maintenance and testing". One of those tests that it performs is a test which checks out your sexual function. This is perfectly natural and the way your creator intended for your body to operate. Don't let it bother you.
Cheers.

You cant even think about it?
But thats quite hypo critic, for someone to tell you that its not allowed, are obviously thinking about it whilst their telling you not to

Our mind is a place of true freedom...so be free, at least allow yourself guiltless thoughts

Being religious doesn't automatically exclude you from your animal instincts, it's perfectly fine to feel the way you are

Your religion is stup1d, and doesn't take into account what you are.

If you want to fight the constant battle to follow it's rules, that's up to you, but they are unrealistic and outdated morals thrust upon unwilling subjects who don't know any better than to disregard it.

You don't talk about your religious beliefs in that you feel that you are being immoral, you seem more concerned that it goes against your religion, with your religion being a FACT of your life rather than a decision.

Please consider your religion, and figure out if it is really worth you surrendering your life and your autonomy to it.

Hi,

My religion also does not permit sex before marriage nor does it tolerate materbation, but your not partaking in these activities should not be "because my religion doesn't tolerate them", but because YOU have made the decision that between God & yourself, these things should not take place before marriage. And it IS possible to supress these feelings of sexual arousal...those who have the same beliefs have done so.

Here is some information to think about that may help...
It is only natural to want to learn about you body & what sex is all about. It is a desire created and blessed by God within the marital bonds, however, if you are not in a position to marry dwelling on sexual ideas will only make it harder to supress those feelings. So keep an eye on who you hang out with & the topic of conversations when your with them, your entertainment-if these are always of a sexual nature- it's really not keeping your mind off of it. Even this website can be helpful in learning and educational, but if your trying to keep your mind off these things- reading all these threads on sex may not serve to keep your mind off of it.

Maturbation only stimulates and nurtures a sexual appetite. (If you are so inclined refer to Colossians 3:5) The best way to to conquer those feelings is by talking to someone about it- someone who shares to same convictions regarding this subject- Obviously, there are plenty of people on this forum who feel dramatically different on this subject than you do (as is evidence by the previous replies to your thread) and preferably someone older & wiser- not your peer. It's not an easy thought to control (1 Cor 9:27) Never underestimate the power of prayer either.

One final thought- Let's say you've put this information to use, but at night you feel sexually aroused, I know that one thing that worked for me was to do some physical activity. I would go for a quick jog or brisk walk- put on your ipod and dance around for a minute. Physical activity & exercise release similar endorphines that can replace those your body crave during sex.

Hope it helps & just ignore the posts that were rather judgemental about your beliefs. Their are those who have been there....I have.

It's a cruel joke for god to forbid people from their strongest and basest instinctual drive...

Guess what the punchline is? Raped choirboys. Ah, god works in mysterious ways...

no offense but its awefully rude to say things to people like their religion is , i have my beliefs and you have yours so lets leave it at that.

And try and remember its not God's fault our civilization has changed. Back in the Bible days girls my age would have long since been married and had kids, as yound as 12 were married, so they didn't have to worry about this stuff!

So does that mean that god thinks I'm a good person if I go and impregnate a 12 year old?

It's not his fault our society has changed??? If he existed, everything would be his doing, so everything would be his fault.

It's your right to believe what you want to, however, it is also my right to question your beliefs. Is it rude? Maybe. Do I care? No. You know when god people were claiming that the sun revolved around the earth? To the extent of burning people who disagreed? It was our right to disagree, woe and behold, it seems we were right.
