First get into a female OB/Gyn and get a full exam and then get into your family doctor for a full physical. The pain could have conditioned you to tense up and not lub well, both of which would make entry more difficult. You could have fibroids or cysts both of which can be treated very effectively. Threre are probably several other fairly harmless but bothersome things which could cause it but it could also be something serious. Don't monkey areound with your health. Pain is your warning system, sex is part of what makes life worth living, why risk losing health or sex? Go see a doctor!

blondie...i know someone affected by the same problem. It just kept getting worse. The end result was that her pelvic floor muscles were in spasm. A little muscle relaxant for a week or so, and she was good as new. Don't put up with this problem. See the doctor and get better!

When comes to this kind of pain I would seek medical attention. It could be ovarian cysts, muscle spasms or a number of other things. Better to let a medical provider make that decision.

It could be vaginismus, which can be treated with both psychological and physical therapy. EVERY gyno should be educated on this condition and if yours isn't and is telling you "it's all in your head" then find a new one. Seriously.
