Some couples do this, but it certainly isn't common, and won't work on most women. He needs to be very careful - can cause real injury if any force is used. You can always see how he would like you to do him that way - might make him change his mind.

If you want to decline politely, just tell him that his penis is as big as you can handle. (that ought to make him feel better).
