Is there anything good about anal sex? I don't see how it's possible for a woman to orgasm from it. Isn't it gross if you know what I mean, and isn't it uncomfortable?

I've never had an orgasm from it, but I enjoy it very much... I think the key is good preparation. Since I like it even more than my fiance, he never urged me to do it, I think that helped a lot.
We actually already did it the first time we had sex, which was when I lost my virginity, and I couldn't believe how good it felt.. I had always assumed it only was nice for guys, because of their prostate.. but anyhow lol

Most guys probably aren't into it that much, but I think a rim job is the best preparation.. if not that, use your fingers. And make sure you're extra horny, I can only enjoy it after we've been doing the regular way for a little bit.

I don't find it bad either.Of course it aint one of my favorites.I don't do this position much.But with lots of lube and if you start slow,it feels greyt!I used to hate it,but now it is fun.

Oh and yes,do not go from one to the other...bum bacteria ( )...not good if it gets into your vagina!

My husband used to BEG me for it and i always said No Never!! then my daughter was born and I felt bad for having to make him wait 6 weeks for sex, so we tried anal. And it also helps if you have some sort of vibrator or just use your fingers, just to kind of distract you from the little bit of hurt u feel in the beginning of anal. And you et bad infections if you go back and forth...so dont do that.

I dont think it sounds appealing at all. DH is facinated with it but knows I don't want to. He still fingers around it tho and slipped once...ouch! No thanks. wow, I've never heard about people using numbing lube.. that does indeed defeat the purpose entirely.
I dont think Id like it much either if I didnt feel anything because I was numbed.

Thanks for your replies guys! I respect all your opinions. I was really curious what the rage was. Personally, it grosses me out and makes my bum hurt just thinking about it. I don't think I could ever bring myself to doing it, and I don't think my husband would want to. There are plenty other positions and fun things to do.
