    Default Bumps on genitals

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this thread.
I went to the doctor yesterday because I had these bumps on my shaft and head of my penis. I thought I might have genital warts or something. Well the doctor looked and said its not herpes and they aren't warts. I have looked at pics of warts and other STDs that cause bumps on genitals and they dont look anything like and they dont hurt or anything. They dont itch alot. They itch from time to time. Maybe 2 - 3 times a day. Has anyone heard/had a simular problem. He said it isnt STD related. They are making me really self consious. Could someone help me get these things off. Please reply asap. Thanks

So, your saying that the Doctor was able to rule out but not advise you as to what they might be, why you are getting them?

I so hate Doctor's like that, what's the point of going, they don't ease your mind hey?

Never heard of stress relating there but who knows?

Have you googled lumps on penises and what they can be?

    Have a go at that...

And, change your Doctor now, if a Doctor can't say let's try this, that, it could be then they are not worth seeing.

Sorry that you are so worried, and had no replies, but not many men here either i guess as to the reason..

Let us know what you find from googling and if you can't i will give it a go, but off course it will just be notations of what i find.

All he really told me that it didnt look like warts. I went to the emercgency room on thurs the 9th and the doctor there said it wasn't herpes or anything like that. The doctor I went to on monday gave me a prescription for kwell which is used to treat crabs, lice, and scabies. He said he doesn't know what it is but that it wasn't STD related. Thats really all im worried about but I would like to get rid of them. They are going away but not fast enough for me. I have been puttin hydrocortizone or however its spelled and it seems to be helping. I have looked at them close and they dont look like warts because they dont have any roots. They dont hurt and they dont make me itch anymore than I itched 6 months ago. I dont have any discharge and They dont bleed or anything. They arent filled with any fluid. I searched for hours last night when I posted this thread and didnt really come up with anything. Everything I searched for penile bumps or bumps on genitals always brough up genital warts.

Good news. I went and got my results yesterday. Everything came back negative. The doctor said it doesnt look like warts. They dont really know what it is but he is pretty sure its not STD related. I forgot to add in my original post that I have small red bumps on my thighs that itch. He said it prob related to that. Which is possible a bed bug. So I have just been putting ointment on them all and its getting better. Just thought I would let everyone know that way if you know someone with a simular problem you can tell them something to help calm their nerves till they get tested and find out for sure.

When I first read your post my thought was a allergy. Look up what the Harvard web site says about bed bugs and if it is possible you have them you will need to steps to get rid of them. The most recent research indicates that they may in fact be carriers for blood borne STDs and diseases. Virtually everyone develops an allergic reaction to bed bug bites. They are becoming epidemic across the world and several cities in the US have serious problem with them.

Well they almost went away then a couple started to come back in the same places. They didnt completely go away.. I have been really stressed out.. Could that cause them to come back?

could they be skin tags? i have been with the same sexual partner for nearly 4 years now, and my sister has genital warts. my partner discovered around my anus area what we thought was ripped skin or skin tags...i went to get it checked out yesterday, come to find out its genital warts. my partner has no signs at all. however the doctor said you may get them frozen, burnt, or cut off. you can use a cream that could take god knows how long...or eventually your body will build up enough immune system to take care of that, but that could take even longer.

Do you work outside in wooded areas? It could be chiggers or red bugs.
