When i lost my virginity i didn't bleed. I have never bled after sex. at least that was before today. This morning my boyfriend and I had a little fun before i left for school and he for work. When he removed the condom he asked me if I was due for my period soon. I said not at least for another week (my fear being the condom had a rip in it). he told me that when he took the condom off there was blood on the outside of it. There was nothing painful or even rough about what we did this morning. I'm not sore, though i did have a wee small bit of spotting that has since stopped.
Is this something i should be concerned about?

You could be having some light spotting which is usually normal for all women from time to time and can be triggered by the heightened hormones during sex.
It could also be that you had a small tear in the vaginal wall which bled a little. If there was no pain, I wouldn't worry about that too much. If it was just a little and it went away, then it is probably ok. |
