Can't understand where the notion that masturbating is cheating. Plus, I cannot understand why a man masturbating is not considered a normal private activity, it's his body after all. if it does not effect their sex life.

Is it possible to get her to read a book or information on the internet about male masturbation being normal. Maybe ask her where she got the notion that it was cheating and abnormal, especially when she is having infrequent sex. She should read about the build up of sperm and the need for release.
