Question Wants me to not wear a bra.

And i don't have a problem with that at home or in a non public place. However in public places i do get reactions ( i am a DD so i jiggles a lot), at one occasion a woman said that i was being rude. In another setting when we helped out in a summer camp (t-shirt), someone wanted me to leave the camp. I am mainly using a thick blouse or a shirt. However he says that i should just ignore this, and that people are narrow-minded. What shall i do? Is it really a big deal, or should i insist on wearing my bra ?

in my opinion its your body, if you want to wear a bra - wear one, if you dont and people harass - say sternly "i had no idea the boob police were on patrol today!" well i've said that anyway. sweetie if you are a DD a bra is probably a good idea, if only so you dont give yourself boob strain or something.

I am 122 pounds and am 5'6" I wear a 36 D. or a DD depending on the make. I would never think to go braless, even when I was alot younger. I for one, don't like the staring or the rude comments from some men.. Also my s/o didn't like it, but yours doesn't have a problem with it. You do need the support of a bra, so that when you do get older they aren't hanging at your knees.
Maybe compromise and go braless at home. There are alot of sexy underwear you can buy, try the cupless basque, they are tres sexy.

Some people say that going braless is actually better for your breasts, that they will sag less if you don't wear a bra. Look into it.
You never said who is asking you to go braless: your husband? Your doctor? If it causes you embarrassment in public, wear a bra! I usually wear camisoles with built-in bras underneath my shirt. It's enough fabric to mask nipples and give a little support, but enough to feel free.

Ever hear of the Ann Lander's pencil test? Stick a pencil. longways under your breast, if it falls you don't need a bra, it if stays you do.
I'm smaller busted and in younger days frequently went braless with no sag. That isn't possible now. If someone who is a B (even A in some styles) sags, you will too, even more so. Follow Little's advice and do some research. Couple points, ill fitting bras can restrict your circulation and may contribute to breast or lymph cancers, they can also cause back trouble. Another point, like it or not around some individuals and in some situations going braless is a bad idea. Period. Dressing in a manner appropriate to the situation is simply something adults do. Inappropriate dress can cost you jobs, promotions and a degree of respect that is needed to get what you want done in life.

Are you doing this because 'he' requests it or because you are most comfortable. If it were your choice and you were fully comfortable I don't think you'd be on here asking. You do what YOU are confortable with and what makes you feel attractive and comfortable in your clothes. If this is about titilating a man (notice that word root?) there are other things you can do. Go without panties, wear stockings instead of hose, no one will notice and you can give him a little something to think about.

Do be certain your bras fit properly, good ones can be expensive but they are worth it. Take him bra shopping and let him buy you a couple that fit well and he finds enticing if he's so into it. It sounds like you've put up with some humiliation to try to please this man - is he worth it?

    I'm a guy.

Braless drives me insane. It turns me on that a woman is natural enough to live with her body... Not to mention giving me something to gawp at and fantasize about (what can I say? I love boobies). Bring on feminism, let's burn those bras :P...

I always encourage braless, but I understand that some men will make women feel uncomfortable doing this, and why they might not want to. If you just do it a few times, in less public places etc. he'll probably be happy. It's probably best you don't do anything you're uncomfortable with, though it might be good to try it in public to see if you're perceptions of it are wrong.

And I'll fully agree with Wildchild about no-panties and stockings.... mmm...

    What's this thread about again?

    People are narrow-minded. Sad fact.

Do what you want. Im braless right now...who cares? Heck, i would walk around naked if people werent so finicky.

I honestly dont think i'd notice if a woman wasnt wearing a bra.

i agree with the your body, your doings.
if you feel you need one, or a health issue, wear one.
if your comfy enough to let them do as nature does, dont wear them.

wear them if you do things that make move alot on those days and the days you know your not going to do alot of movement then dont wear one.

as for what others think, who cares. are they living your life and dictating it for you? no, so again, who cares.

    do what you want period.

It makes no sense to go braless for a man. This is all the US males obsession with boobs. Soooo dumb.

On the other hand - If he thinks going bra-free is sexy he just hasn't seen enough lingerie!
    ;-)

Tell him that if you run without a bra you will give yourself two black eyes. Or give his testes a yank and tell him your breasts are far bigger and that it hurts them to be hanging free also! THAT should get his attention.
