    Default Can kissing spread infection

Whenever my boyfriend kisses me, he leaves saliva around my mouth. I want to know whether kissing generally leaves so much of saliva on the other person.

A day after I kiss, the skin around my mouth slightly changes in color and produces small boils. These are not painful. Though the boils disappear after sometime, the skin changes do not. I have no idea whether it is because of his saliva or is he transmitting some infection?

Can so much of saliva secretion be avoided during kissing. How can I convey this to him without hurting him......Someone pls help me out!

I really do not know whether his kissing is sloppy. This is my first time, so I have no idea how much is too much moist??

Sloppy kissers are relative, if you think it's sloppy it is. Never heard of this kind of reaction. Best guess you are sensitive to something he uses, aftershave, mouthwash, toothpaste?

I doubt it is either of them.. as kissing usually happens towards end of day...after office....been dating a colleague of mine...
it is not going to be a permanent relationship.... just having fun.....
having doubts whether i should stop everything for this only reason

Somrthing isn't right. Kissing shouldn't make you break out in boils. It's supposed to be delightful and fun or passionate and arousing, not boil raising. Think about this, do you really want it?

I can make my own lips red and raw by licking them too much, so this doesn't sound like too unusual of a response to an excess of saliva. I hate that kind of kissing. The only suggestion I have for trying to change it would be to maybe get on top of him, hold him down playfully and try kissing him more gently. If he strains to intensify it and go back to his way just keep playfully pulling back and starting it your way again. This can be flirtatious and maybe also give him the hint that you like to kiss in a different way. OR he might be too thick to get it and then you'll just have to have a conversation about it.
Well some people say that you shouldn't tempt fate, and for them I can not disagree. But I never learned nothing from playing it safe; I say fate should not tempt me. I take my chances.

I am wondering if this is a reaction to the stubble on his upper lip. You mention that you hook up later on in the day. Does he have 5 oclock shadow happening? Does his face feel like you're kissing a porcupine?
I found that whenever I kissed my sweetie, his stubble on his upper lip, gave me wicked razor burn. For hours afterwards, my lip would be irratated and I would have a burning sensation. But I never broke out in boils. I think your mouth is extra sensitive to his stubble. That is my guess.

No, he had a full shaven face....
May be my skin is too sensitive....else he doesn't clean himself properly.
He is the first man in my life. Is it the end-all??

Totally not the end at all. Just the beginning ! Have you ever seen any boils or sores around his mouth ? Does he get cold sores at all. Ask him maybe

Kissing are just normal, and you can always kiss him softly, just try to control yourself once you are kissing with him. And Doctor says that deep kissing can also cause HIV, so be aware of it.
