Sex Toy Advice

Hello all. Wife decided to want to give some sex toys a try. But a few things, she/we do not want to go to the local porn shop there are pretty sleezy around here. So, that being said, any recommendations on online places to buy from that dont sell junk ? Also, we need recommendations on types/brands of toys... nothing to big, scary or hurt.. Thanks

We just went to a sex shop, it was called the Love Boutique. Usually big malls will have the sex shops with frosted windows and everything and when you go in they are actually pretty chill. They have everything, body oils, lotions, games, strap on's, dvds, and the vibrators. That is the type of place you need to look for. As for the products, if this is your first toy I would say stick to simple stuff. A smooth vibrator in the size your wife would like is probably your best bet. Or a small bullet vibrator, just to see how it all goes. There are things in the shops that will make your jaw drop, laugh about it together to make it a fun experience.

I agree with Secret, adult shops aren't what they once were and no long just a male domain. There are usually women working there and sales people are generally pretty well informed about the products and how well they work. You really should give it a try, you want to see and touch before you buy - some of this stuff can be pricey and the quality varies.

The high end places: good-vibrations in San Francisco, The Pleasure Chest in Los Angeles for example are nice. Surprisingly, some BDSM shops are actually much less sleazy than the standard porn / adult shops. The BDSM shops tend to have very high end stuff (a lot of it not at all BDSM related), and a polite staff. Besides, when the person ahead of you in line is buying an electrical gizmo for shocking someone's genitals, its hard to be embarassed buying a vibrator.
